To transition to a climate-resilient South Africa, which will follow a sustainable development path, guided by anticipation, adaptation, and recovery from a changing climate and environment to achieve our development aspirations.

The NAP is divided into 13 chapters: the country context, the vulnerability assessment, the adaptation measures, and the implementation framework. There are two annexes: proposed key messaging for adaptation communication and indicators for M&E.
